• Lions and Packers matchup reached 24.67 million viewers on Sunday.
• High television ratings reflect two elite, high-scoring NFL offenses.
• Key fantasy stars remain must-start options for week 8 slate.

What happened

The marquee matchup between the Packers and Lions pulled in 24.67 million viewers during Sunday's late-afternoon window. This NFC North clash dominated national television ratings and highlighted two of the most explosive offenses in the league. The massive viewership underscores the high-scoring nature of both rosters as fantasy managers head deeper into the 2024 regular season schedule.

Fantasy impact

High-volume offensive environments boost primary weapons like Jahmyr Gibbs, projected for 23.3 PPR pts, and Jared Goff at 19.7 pts. Tucker Kraft carries tight end value with 11.4 projected pts. Amon-Ra St. Brown is projected for 19.3 pts but carries a questionable tag due to an ankle injury, making his pregame status critical for week 8 lineups.

What changes for the team

Detroit continues to operate an elite dual-threat offense centered around Gibbs and Goff. Meanwhile, Green Bay's passing distribution shifts toward tight ends and running backs due to current receiver health uncertainties.

What to do: Start your healthy Lions skill players with complete confidence and monitor Amon-Ra St. Brown before kickoff.
