What happened

Wide receiver Josh Downs has requested a trade amid the team's rebuilding efforts, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Wednesday. This decision comes as the franchise evaluates major roster changes following the start of the season.

Fantasy impact

The fantasy impact for Josh Downs depends entirely on his landing spot, as a trade could boost his value in deep leagues if he joins a pass-heavy offense. For now, his outlook with the Colts is uncertain and you should bench him until his situation is resolved.

What changes for the team

Downs' potential departure leaves a void in Indianapolis' receiving corps, opening up target opportunities for other secondary pass-catchers.
