DaVon Hamilton likely out for remainder of season

• DaVon Hamilton suffered a torn quad in Week 8.
• Jaguars defensive tackle expected to miss rest of season.
• Major blow to Jacksonville run defense unit moving forward.

What happened

Jacksonville Jaguars nose tackle DaVon Hamilton is expected to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn quadriceps muscle. The loss of the interior lineman represents a significant blow to Jacksonville's defense, removing their primary anchor against the running game in the trenches. The team must now adjust its rotation along the front line.

Fantasy impact

Hamilton's absence weakens the Jaguars D/ST run defense and boosts opposing running backs. Start rival RBs facing Jacksonville with higher confidence in upcoming weeks. Opposing backs get a boost into RB1 or RB2 territory in both PPR and standard formats due to the extra room expected inside the trenches.

What changes for the team

Jacksonville loses interior strength, forcing linebackers to take on more blocks and opening larger rushing lanes for opposing offenses.

What to do: Target the Jaguars defense by starting opposing primary running backs.
